Delete your Mana account

Delete from inside the app (fastest)

1. Open the Mana app on iOS, Android, or the web app at app.ourmana.app.
2. Tap your profile, then Settings.
3. Scroll to Account and tap Delete Account.
4. Confirm with the sign-in method you used (Google, Apple, or email link). For email-link accounts, you may be asked to sign out and back in once for security.
5. Read the “What gets deleted” summary in the confirmation dialog, then tap Delete My Account.

Don't have access to the app?

Email us at hello@ourmana.app from the email address associated with your account and include the subject line “Account Deletion Request”. We'll verify ownership of the account and complete the deletion within 30 days (typically within 72 hours).

What gets deleted

• Your profile, settings, and device push token
• Your tasks, events, recipes, and personal notes
• Your profile photo and recipe images
• Your blocked-users list and report history
• Your authentication record (you will no longer be able to sign in with that account)

What stays with the group

Mana is built around shared households and circles. So that other members aren't left with gaps in their history, the following are retained when you delete your account:

• Messages you posted to a household or circle remain visible to the other members of that group.
• Households and circles you co-own keep running for the remaining members; only your membership is removed.
• Tasks, events, recipes, and grocery items you marked as shared with the household stay with the household after you leave.

If you want shared content removed too, ask the other group members to delete it before you submit your account deletion, or contact us at hello@ourmana.app with the specific items.

Want to keep a copy of your data first?

Before deleting, open the Mana app and go to Settings → Export My Data. You'll get a JSON file containing your tasks, events, recipes, groceries, notes, meal plans, and the circles you belong to.

This action cannot be undone

Once your account is deleted we cannot restore it. You can, of course, create a new Mana account at any time using the same email address.
